Poems from Small Voice Large Thoughts

Universal Prayer

The great lord of this universe

What thy name we call

Krishna, Mahavira, Buddha, Jesus, Allah

We pray to you with a name.

Have pity in thy heart,

For all the life forms in thy universe.

Show us the way,

For peace and unity.

With your love for all thy life

That you have created

In thy universe.

Kiran Shah.

Pigeon Hole

I do not like to be pigeon hole.

Do not call me Blackie, Whitie, Pakie,

Or a wog or anything.

For I am not anything, I am just me,

In this time, any other time.

Running side by side in equilibrium.

Do not pigeon hole me,

To say the least.

I am nothing, I am everything.

I am a time, like you a time,

Living in a dimension going around,

Different time in one time life.

The cycle of never ending dimensions.

Do not pigeon hole me,

For I am you and

You is me and

You and me are them.

Like the time we travel together,

Round and out spinning in time.

Ever expanding in this universal togetherness

With no ending in ever increasing infinity.

So

Do not pigeon hole me,

Do not pigeon hole me,

Do not even think, to,

Pigeon hole me;

Kiran Shah

Borrowed Time

This Universe, This Galaxy, This Solar System

Moves to infinity from the source of the bang.

New stars created, as old ones die,

In all the galaxies as they form and die.

In this time that is borrowed time.

This Past, This Present, This Future

Moves to infinity from the source of the bang.

As now the time is set in motion

As the past time moves in history dead.

In this time that is borrowed time.

This Soul, This Body, This Life- Form

Moves to infinity from the source of the bang.

New life created, as the old ones die out.

This soul moves to a new body forever.

In this time that is borrowed.
